Day 12 :|
Day 12
Well, fellas, I don’t know about today.
They weren’t bad, I woke up fine, I really had some fun times.
We didn’t get to go swimming today. And we still played games, and ate on time.
And after that, though, they woke up some kind of early from their nap. They fell asleep around 12:45, and I remember looking at the clock at exactly 2:02, and seeing Christian walk out of the room. So they didn’t get a lot of sleep.
But through the rest of the day they were running around, laughing and screaming in that adorable childish way… and it got out of hand. They starting playing so much and rough they were starting to get hurt, poor Christian especially. But I’ll tell you, they bounce back like I don’t know what.
My mother is coming back tomorrow, so I’ll see her. And the kids absolutely love her.
So we all have something to look forward to. I’m really tired though, so goodnight.
Oh and, Madison was really helpful today reading the book. Then she wouldn’t get back in bed.
But hey, she’s there now.

Day 9,10,11. :):):)
Again, sorry for not writing. I just haven’t felt it, you know?
Well, here goes, loves.
Day 9
That day the cleaning ladies came in the morning, so we couldn’t be in the house. Well, we could’ve gone somewhere, but no one wanted to. So we all went into the pool, and swam all morning.
Okay, technically we just sat around the pool, and ate half the time, and THEN swam.
The eating was an experience. Grandma had C&C yelling and yelling about how they wanted peanut butter and jelly, and she had to make them some, and Madison something else. She had this little tiny counter, and I wasn’t entirely helping, because you know, I was kind of hungry, too. But with the help of Uncle Tom, we shushed the kids, got them their sandwiches, and I got one too.
hehe.
That afternoon was like any other, they napped, they woke up, and they played until dinner, and then bedtime. Madison and I played a little game with the ABC’s book. There is one page in it where it has all the letters, right before they introduce the letter Z. So I tok her hand, and I pointed to random letters, and she knew all of them. It was cute. I spelled out Madison, hug, and love.
Day 10
It basically was a regular day on schedule. We swam in the morning, but it started to thunder, so unfortunately, we didn’t get to swim as long. We came inside though, and watched Robin Hood, which is absolutely amazing. (Who knew that a animated little fox could be so exciting?) After that, we ate dinner, and I read to Madison again. In the book, on almost every page, there is BIG (LETTER) little (letter). This time, she told tell me everytime we went to the next letter “BIG I, little i” or “BIG Q, little q” It was precious to see her laugh and enjoy reading the book.
Day 11
For every family member reading this, you have to exuse me. Everyone once in a while should have the day I had today.
I woke up late, and the only reason I DID wake up is because Grandma had a bath drawn for me. Oh, and let me be the first to say what a great way to wake up in the morning.
The problem with that, I never really woke up as the day went on. I dawdled and lazed around following after the kids, and the only time I was really hyper was swimming. I fell asleep on the chair in the living room when the kids woke up from their nap. So I pretty much missed out on the whole day, minus the swimming.
Hehe, sorry?
Well, then I read the ABC’s book to Madison, and today, she practically was telling ME the story, hehe. Maybe it’s time we moved on to another book. (DUH)
When I tucked her in and said goodnight, the twins wanted me to read them the book. Well, I agreed. And while I was reading it, they went ABC crazy, singing their ABC’s every time the letter changed. Which was cute, until about P. So that was an experience.
Well, now I’m going to bed, because believe it or not, I’m still tired.
Nighty nite.
im4serious, you still love me,
-Michelle.
Day 8 :)
Day 8
Today was quite an average day, I must say. We woke up this morning, and I promise you, time flew by so fast. Before lunch, though, we had quite a bit of fun.
At my grandma’s house, there are these green, red, yellow, and blue placemats, that are soft and a lot like giant puzzle peices. So today, I started to build a fort, at the recomendation of my brother, who I had talked to a couple nights ago. He told me the kids really love the forts. So I attempted to build it. Everything was going great, but Christian, the cutie, decides to push and break the fort while I put it up. I joked with him that if I was his boss, and he was my builder, he’d be fired. I love his laugh. Well, eventually, the fort was built…but it wasn’t as sturdy as I had hoped. So we were inside playing, and Cole wanted a door. So I built a door. Well, then, Christian decided to try and fix things from the outside. So what does Cole do? Rip it from the center. Everything collapsed inwards, where Cole and I were sitting. For a moment, I was happy. Until I realized the fort I worked so hard on was through. So after my hopes and dreams were crashed along with said fort, I attempted to build another. Unfortunatly, it was soon destroyed thanks to the mighty duo.]
Of course, grandma picks the perfect time for lunch. So we ate.
Nap time, I went and layed out.
Well, when I was done laying out, Madi was done sleeping, so she came right out, and we went swimming. How fun. C&C joined us as soon as they woke up.
Well, the thunder and lightning ruined our fun.
So we came inside and watched one of the best disney movies ever. Mulan. I LOVE that movie.
Then we ate dinner. And I went for a run. I haven’t run in a long time, so it was more like a breathe hard, try to stay a live, etc, kind of jog.
By the time I got back, they were going to bed. So I read Madi her ABC’s book, which she told me all the letters except Q. So that was great.
Day 5 And 6 And 7. :) :( :D
Well, It’s actually day 8.
I know that I haven’t been writing, but if only you knew how tired they make me.
They are currently laying in bed, looking absolutely precious, taking their nap, C&C in one room, Madi in the other.
Well, I’ll try to recap the previously not recorded days, now. I’ll do number eight, tonight, loves.
Day 5
I don’t really remember very well, but I do know they were really sweet, and kind of tired. I guess they didn’t sleep the best Day 4? Well, that’s okay.
I remember sitting on the couch, with a blanket, and Christian came to me and said “I want to go up there.” I pulled him up, and he layed down and said he was going to take a power nap. Aweeeeeee.
But it was lunchtime, so no power nap.
I went on a reading fest with C&C, and they asked to read the Dr. Seuss books so many times, I feel like I know him personally. They asked me to read the Dr. Seuss’ ABC book, and I read it, and as soon as I did, they went to bed. I then had to read Madi the book again. I know that book by heart, now.
Day 6
What a day. I don’t think I will ever forget that day. Madison was so sweet, and she was quiet. Christian smiled the whole day.
Cole was cranky. >.<
Very very VERY cranky.
Actually, that might be why I was so tired that night.
Everything that didn’t go exactly his way was a nightmare. And everything that did go his way still made him cry and scream. It was like I couldn’t do anything to help him! He would be mean and cranky, and then they’d out him in timeout, and he would scream for five minutes! He would get down, and cry. Well, I still love the little guy SOO much. I hated to see him unhappy. All he needed though was a nap, and he’d be okay, but he didn’t want one.
So needless to say, sleep for me came right after I read Madi the ABC book again.
Day Seven
Woah. You know, I’ve never had such and wonderful day happen before. It was the exact opposite of yesterday.
Sure, they were extremely hyper, but I loved it. I’m a very hyper person, and when they were all jumpy let’s play without the whining, we were all in a good mood. They even took their nap wonderfully. Madison woke up a little early, and the twins played a little before they went to bed, but we were okay. And swimming was really fun, although C&C hardly swam. They played by the pool with cups and buckets and all kinds of toys. Madison of course was right in the water. Grandpa and her stayed in the shallow end, while C&C kept pretending to throw various food items in the water and I became a manatee, then a baby seal, and had to go get the carrots, fish, etc. It was so cute to see them laugh and play. Then they made lemonade. It consisted of pool water, pool water, and more pool water, but it was cute to see them pretend to mix it all together.
After we got out, I took a shower, but it was a bit long, considering the fact that by the time I got inside, they had eaten dinner. I didn’t even see time pass. C&C were having brownies and milk, and Madi was in the computer room on playhouse disney/nick/starfall. Then C&C were REALLY hyper, jumping around, and pretend playing house. Then they went to bed, and it was quiet.
Then I went outside and sat and talked to three of my best friends, Tiyon, and then Shay, and then Dawo. Funny names, huh? O.o Kidding. Wonderful people. I miss them. Then, I had to call my mother. Many people say that you’re a baby if you miss your mom, but I’ll be the first to say how much I miss her. I love it here, and I’m not homesick at all, but I do occasionaly wish my mom was here, haha.
I’m not ashamed.
im4serious, it’s nap time, and I want to lay by the pool while I can, so peace.
–Michelle.
Uncle Tom+Cooking=REALLY GOOD FOOD
Today I had porkchops.
I used to HATE porkchops.
But my Uncle Tom’s cooking, which, I have to admit, I was scared to try, made porkchops the best meat I have ever had.
Who knew?
Well, I am not usually one for trying new things, and when I bit into it…
It was DELICIOUS. I had heaven i my mouth.
I had firsts, I had seconds, I had thirds, and I’m pretty sure I can manage leftovers.
Well, that’s that.
Im4serious, though. THE BEST EVER.
-Michelle.
Day 4 :D
Day 4
Well, today was a nice day, probably the best so far. Of course, there were some moments.
Today, C&C were waiting for everyone to wake up, so that they could play hide and seek with me again. When everyone DID wake up, it was time to eat breakfast. I got kind of lucky, because by then, Christian wanted to go swimming, and so Madison did too. It took a little more to get Cole off of the idea of hide and seek so we could swim. Eventually, my mother, the kids and I were enjoying ourselves thoroughly, and everyone was having a great time. About an hour and forty-five minutes later, it was lunch time, so we had to get out. Which wasn’t bad. Madison kind of had an ordeal about eating, though. They all went strait to nap time, which was the perfect time to relax, although the ordeal about going shopping took all of nap time (deciding who was going, what we were getting, etc). After nap time, Madison had to finish her lunch. She sat there and looked at it forever. My family all helped “influence” her to eat it. Then C&C stayed on the computers for quite a long time. I was rummaging through the VCR movies my grandmother has, and I found what was my favorite movie when I was little. It’s called “The Great Mouse Detective” starring “Basil of Baker Street”. I told Cole about how it was my favorite, and he demanded we watch it. He began telling Christian and I how it was his favorite movie, too. I then asked him if he had seen it before, to which he smiled his little cute smile, and said “Nope. It’s my favorite!”.
There are certain things I cannot reply to, that being one of them. O.o
So anyways, we all sat down for dinner, and Madison wouldn’t eat her food. Well, I don’t want to give the details, but THAT was an ordeal.
After that, we watched the movie, and Christian couldn’t keep his eyes open, but he refused to go to bed without Cole. Well, more power to him, I thought. If I was falling asleep, I’d have left, twin or no twin.
I again read Dr. Seuss’ ABC to Madison, which I now know up until “L” by heart. Getting kind of annoying, actually, but she enjoys it.
Im4seriously tired, so
goodnight.
-Michelle.
Sometimes I wonder…
Hmph.
As a cheerleader, there is never a time to take a break. Well, considering how I am babysitting this whole month, and we have camps and practices every other day, I’m taking a HUGE break.
In the state of GA, a cheerleading competition squad can have no more than 16 people competing. 18 people made our squad, so that leaves room for two alternates. I am not the best one on the team, but I am FAR from being the worst. The only reason I’m not one of the very best is because I cannot tumble (backhandsprings, tucks, layouts, etc.). Our squad just had a three-day, five hours a day camp. I learned all of the every section of the routine. I could do it with my eyes closed. But because I am here in Florida, I am stuck being an alternate. One girl and I, although good friends, are forced to compete for the same spot on the mat. My coach has known two other girls and me previously, because we were the only ones who were on the team last year. She absolutely loves all three of us, because last season we were basically a family. So she told me that if I worked really hard, I would get my spot back. I hope I can do it.
Well, I guess we’ll see when I get back, huh?
im4seriously peacin out,
-michelle.
Babies Part One. :D
Well, if anyone has ever babysat in their entire life, then they know that the only thing that children REFUSE to do is sit. It’s a complete misnomer. Whoever decided to call it babysitting was laughing when he or she said that.
Here’s my situation. I’m being paid by my grandparents to babysit my absolutely ADORABLE little cousins. The problem, there is one of me, while there are three of them. One seven year old girl, and two five year old twin boys. The whole month of June, I have to care and watch after these children, with the help of my grandparents and my Uncle Tom and Aunt Bonnie for the first two weeks. See, their daddy (my uncle Richard) has to work, and so they have to stay here, in Florida. I don’t mind takng care of them, yet.
Day One
It wasn’t bad at all, really.
We got here really late. And all I had to do was take them to bed, and read Madison(the seven year old) a story. Something ABC, by Dr. Suess. Peice of cake.
Day Two
Still not so bad.
We ate breakfast, went swimming in the morning, ate lunch.
Then came hide and seek, which the twins absolutely loved. Again, not so bad, but wears you out. After that, we went swimming again. Which was fun. They got sort of cranky, tho. They were tired. So we had dinner, and went to bed. I read Madison the same story I read the night before, by her demand. After they were asleep, I went right to bed, so that I could be up the next morning, ready to help.
Didn’t work so well. I fell asleep, slept great. The kids, tho…not so much.
Thank goodness there were other people there.
Day Three
I woke up late, and everyone was up but me. Breakfast was pretty much taken car of. I didn’t get off to a good start, so I had tokind of step up my game. I played hide and seek with them all morning, and even I had fun. At around ten, we all went swimming again, and we swam for about an hour. That caused a fus for the young ones, because an hour is really five minutes when your enjoying yourself. When we ate lunch, Madison wouldn’t really eat. So Uncle Tom and Grandpa helped her learn that eating is the best choice.
Nap time was the best time. My mother and I went shopping at Baells for cute clothes. We actually found some, and spent some money.
When I got back, my grandmother and I went and got our hair cut. (Did you know that most conditioners are bad for your hair because they have wax? HOW CRAZY! And Tresseme has poli…I forget. But it’s bad. Look it up.) Well, that was a nice trip.
When we got back, the kids were up and moving. We had to feed them dinner, and we watched a quick flick. Then Cole and Christian decided beating me up was the current best form of entertainment. Well, no. It was bedtime. That’s how we roll here at this house.
The weird thing is, I had to read Madison the same story again. Hmph.
So now I’m writing this blog. and signing off. 11.54 June 3.
I’m 4 serious, what a day/what days.
-Michelle.
