Well, Michelle. :)
If you’ve ever seen me in person, I’m the kind of person you shouldn’t forget for years. Shyness is a gene I was born without. I would walk right up to downright anybody and introduce myself. Sometimes that is a good thing, some times it isn’t. The point is: Hi, I’m Michelle!
Want to know about me? Well, here goes.
I grew up in “The South” my entire life. Never moved out of my little hometown in Georgia, USA. I’m just a teenager, but fifteen years is a long time when it’s your whole life. Of course, many people remark on the accents and the redneck traits of everyone down here. The funny story is, my father is Colombian, being from Medellin, and my mother was born in Rochester, New York. So my father has a thick spanish accent, though he speaks better english than most Americans, and my mother has the accent of an english teacher, attempting to pronounce most words and use correct grammar. (Occasionally, she slips. My father never slips.) Anyways, although most people I attend school with are either very ghetto or very “southern”, I am neither.
I am in honors classes, as having an education is one of the biggest things in my life. Although I want to be in the movie business, a newscaster, a model, or a singer, I know the realization of those goals, and having an education is an excellent backup to dreams.
I am a cheerleader at my high school, which by the way I attend as a sophmore. I am on the Varsity basketball, JV competition, and JV football squads. I absolutely LOVE my team, my coach, and our cheers/dances/routines. I also am in the choral program at my school, where our director has brought our chorus students to be Grand Champions for three years in a row at each competition we’ve attended. I plan on being on the soccer team my tenth grade year, so it should be fun. I have been in the drama productions at my school all of my ninth grade year, and I absolutely love it. I also bellydance at home, and plan on joining a group sometime in the future for it. In addition, I LOVE writing stories, song lyrics, scripts and poetry. All of these things are my pastimes, my hobbies, my ways to express myself, etc. Whatever you call it, without cheer, singing, drama, bellydancing, soccer, and writing, I have no life.
I’ve never understood the expression of being a “social butterfly”, but apparently, I am one. Whether it’s hanging out with friends I made that day, people I meet from school activities, or spending time with friends I’ve grown up with, socializing is what makes me, well, me. I’m so lucky to have so many people know who I am, and have so many friends, and still have my close best friends that I can trust with anything. I love meeting new people, but I will always have my old friends too.
I don’t really have much more to say about myself, except a couple of random things:
My favorite colors are black, orange, green, pink, and blue respectively.
I am a very argumentative person, and I will research and work hard to prove that I am right, no matter what.
My favorite bands are Kevin Michael, Avril Lavigne, Ne-Yo, Slipknot, Dear Jayne, Fall Out Boy, TLC, Beyonce, Otep, Weezy/Lil Wayne, Hope, Chrisete Michele, Tokyo Hotel, Yellowcard, Jaheim, Alicia Keys, Jimmy Robbins, J.Holiday, Madison, Cherish, Good Charlotte, Chris Brown, and Bob Marley.
I play video games, to the point where you can call me a nerd.
I LOVE pizza. A lot. No, really. Many people think they love it more than I. Not true.
Thanks to my Uncle Tom, (navycs blog, check it out, bruhhhh) because he got me started on blogging. XD
Peace, peeps.
I’m 4 serious,
Michelle.
